If the camper is suddenly immobile: delivery bottlenecks jeopardize holiday plans

Claudio Rosset (27) heads sales at the Bernese Oberland motorhome dealer Ruchti. It’s actually a pleasant job: “For many customers, buying a mobile home is a dream come true – and we can support them in this. That’s great!”

Right now, however, Rosset isn’t always endearing itself to its customers. He has to tell many that an ordered vehicle will not be available at the agreed time: “A customer should have received his mobile home in December. It’s almost the end of April and we’re still waiting.”
