Family adventures in Europe, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Alaska – Disney Cruise Line announces summer itineraries
Highlights of the new routes include Disney Dream’s first voyage to Europe and Disney Wonder’s return to Alaska
Disney Cruise Line is offering families a variety of enchanting cruises to new and popular ports around the world in Summer 2023. For the first time, families will have the opportunity to explore the Mediterranean and British Isles with the Disney Dream during its first season in Europe. The majestic glaciers of Alaska, the sun-drenched Greek islands, the beaches of Bermuda and the picturesque fjords of Norway are also on the itinerary this summer. Bookings are possible from May 9, 2022.
“We are excited to be at sea in Summer 2023 with five ships offering a wide array of family destinations,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president & general manager, Disney Cruise Line. “These Disney Cruise Line cruises will provide families with summer adventures as only Disney can, delighting guests of all ages with entertainment, world-class dining, unique Disney character encounters, carefree days at sea and unparalleled Disney service,” she added.
Disney Dream starts its first season in Europe
In her first-ever summer season in Europe, the Disney Dream will call at a variety of popular destinations. With sailings between four and eleven nights, the Disney Dream calls at scenic ports across the Mediterranean from Barcelona and Rome, including for the first time the Greek islands with the popular ports of Santorini and Mykonos.
In late summer and early autumn, the Disney Dream will depart from Southampton for Spain, France, the British Isles, Norway and Iceland. The ports of La Rochelle in France and two ports in Norway will be called at – Skjolden, which is said to be home to various natural attractions, and Sandnes, a small town outside of metropolitan Stavanger, known for its outdoor activities.
Tropical trips to the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Florida
Sun-drenched tropical islands in the Bahamas and the Caribbean await guests on three Disney Cruise Line ships departing from Florida. In her first summer at sea, Disney Wish will depart from her homeport of Port Canaveral near Orlando on three- and four-night cruises in the Bahamas to Nassau and Disney’s private island oasis, Castaway Cay. The Disney Wish features exciting new features including Disney’s first Frozen themed restaurant and AquaMouse, a wild water adventure and the first Disney attraction at sea.
The Disney Magic is heading to a number of exciting destinations from Miami this summer. Beginning May 27, 2022, Disney Magic will operate four-night cruises to the Bahamas and five-night cruises to the Western Caribbean, followed by two seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbeans. Double the fun on selected summer cruises aboard the Disney Magic, whose program includes double days on Castaway Cay.
Summer 2023: Cruises to Alaska aboard Disney Wonder
The breathtaking beauty of Alaska, coupled with the magic of Disney, is experienced by passengers on five, seven and nine-night voyages aboard the Disney Wonder from Vancouver, Canada. From May, cruisers can discover ports like Ketchikan and Skagway with their prehistoric glaciers, gold mining relics and spectacular scenery and sea life. Three Alaskan routes lead to Icy Strait Point, home to coastal rainforest, wilderness tours and, for the more adventurous, canopy ziplining.
